Six houses a year.

Nate Oduya spent nine years running sites for a production builder before starting Quietwater in 2013 with a rule that has not changed: one site manager per house, and no more houses than we have site managers.

The team

Nate Oduya, founder, and the first call on every project. Lena Whitaker, pre-construction, who prices the drawings and runs the historic reviews. Marcus Bell, Tomas Rivera and Jordan Pike, site managers, two houses each at any one time. Ava Chen, concierge, who looks after the houses after we leave.

Why the photographs

Every house is photographed by the same photographer six weeks after the owners move in, with their furniture, on an ordinary day. It keeps us honest about the finish, and it means the portfolio is the pitch. There is no other marketing.
